It seems, after laying low a bit on new releases, the long wait would be worth it. Mali Music has something in store this 2020 for his fans, and the music market at large.
Mali Music Releases New Single “Let Go”

Three-time Grammy nominee Mali Music is back with a new single and label, Billboard has learned.

“Let Go,” whose lyric video premiered (Jan. 30), is the first release under the partnership between the singer-songwriter’s imprint K Approved Enterprises and RCA Inspiration.

“I’m addicted to the vision,”

Mali Music reveals at one point in “Let Go,” a soulful song about perseverance and hope. The mid-tempo track was written and produced by Mali Music, with David Grant Jr. as co-producer. In keeping with earlier Mali Music hits such as “Beautiful” and and “I Believe,” this latest offering seamlessly fuses contemporary R&B and hip-hop with the artist’s trademark conscious lyricism.

In announcing the new partnership with Mali Music, RCA Inspiration vp of artist development Ron Hill said,

“Mali is one of the most talented and creative artists of this era. I’m excited to partner with him and the K Approved Enterprises’ team to usher in the next phase of his career.”

Added Mali Music, “’Let Go,’ along with the opportunity to have partners who believe in me and understand my vision, is beyond a dream come true. This feels like my purpose is being fulfilled. Not only am I excited about what’s coming down the pipeline for me, I’m also proud of how it’s being prepared, and confident in the ability of each individual connected to my success.”

“Let Go” will be available at all DSPs from Jan. 31.
